Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Azure Administrator to manage, monitor, and support cloud infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining Azure environments, ensuring system availability, security, performance optimization, backup management, and supporting cloud deployment activities.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Azure services, virtual machines, networking, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting in production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Manage and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.

·         Configure and monitor Azure Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, and Load Balancers.

·         Monitor system performance, uptime, and resource utilization.

·         Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions.

·         Handle Azure Active Directory (AAD) administration and user access management.

·         Configure and maintain network security groups (NSG), VPNs, and firewall settings.

·         Monitor Azure resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and alerts.

·         Support deployment activities and coordinate with development and DevOps teams.

·         Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, connectivity, and performance-related issues.

·         Perform patch management, system updates, and server maintenance.

·         Ensure security compliance and follow cloud best practices.

·         Maintain documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and operational procedures.

·         Assist in cost optimization and resource management in Azure.

·         Support cloud migration and infrastructure automation initiatives.

·         Good knowledge of Windows Server administration.

·         Basic Linux server administration knowledge.

·         Familiarity with PowerShell scripting.

·         Understanding of monitoring, patching, and backup processes.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Good communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

·         Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

·         Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

·         Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.

·         Basic knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) services such as EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC.

·         Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (Azure & AWS).

·         Understanding of disaster recovery (DR) and compliance standards.

·         Exposure to automation and scripting tools.

·         Azure or AWS certifications will be an added advantage.
